The rule

Когда сравнивают двух человек, два предмета или явления, употребляют прилагательное в сравнительной степени. The pig is large. …большая. But the dog is larger than the pig. …больше чем… Многосложные прилагательные образуют сравнительную степень при помощи слова more (more). The pig is beautiful. …красивая. But the dog is more beautiful. …красивее. Исключения: good – better (лучше), bad – worse (хуже)
