“ An Englishman’s home is his castle” A lot of people in England have got their own houses.

A detached house is a house that has land around it

Second best is a semi-detached house

These Houses share a central wall.

Terraced houses are attached to each in a long row

A bungalow is a house where all rooms are on the ground floor

There are no stairs.

A block of flats is a large building divided into separate parts

The country cottages are often stone buildings which were part of a

farm.

Today you are going to construct a building, but to do it you should

divide into groups of four. There will be five English companies which will draw their own building in brutal style and do the task. Look at the cards.

To do the task you should have four people in your company

They are: a construction engineer an architect a drawer an estate agent You may choose any role you like

Firstly,read the text to know some facts about how to construct a

building and what video ecology is. (Приложение 1)

Card # 3 (for students) you should prepare a drawing of your building

and describe it. 1.Engineer- инженер- строитель where it is situated(what country, city, where in the city, why you have chosen this place, what will surround your building, what it will be used for. 2.Architect- архитектор what form it will be for example: if it is a library, it will be in the form of a book. 3.Estate agent-аент по продаже недвижимости, риэлтор. 1.If your building is video ecological. What elements good for people’s eyes did you use? Drawer - чертежник what geometric patterns did you use?

Make a drawing of your building and present it to us
